• Alpaca is a super soft fiber , a natural fiber harvested from an alpaca. Comparing to its close relative, wool, Alpaca does not have scales on the fiber, making it naturally smooth and soft.
• Alpaca is completely hollow fiber, meaning it is capable of trapping heat while being extremely lightweight, making Alpaca pillows a very warm pillow to sleep on. Also thanks for all the heat trapped in the fiber, and this mechanically pushes the water away and making the Alpaca pillow almost completely waterproof. Because of this, Alpaca does not smell and is not subject to mould and mildew under normal circumstances.
• Unlike other fleeces, Alpaca does not contain Lanolin, which puts it into the classification of a 'dry-fiber'.  The benefit of a 'dry fiber' is that it requires no chemical processing whatsoever, making it not only hypo-allergenic but a very eco-friendly fiber, which is perfect for those who suffer an allergy.
